"Ecomigo was coined from the combination of the words ‘eco’ and ‘amigo’: amigo meaning friend in Spanish. Our tagline says ‘let’s be friends with nature again’ and that is our primary goal: to contribute to the protection of our environment and ecosystem. We seek to use technology to promote the friendly treatment of the environment and ecosystem. We all share a passionate concern for the environment, specifically ways in which humans can lead a healthy lifestyle and ensure sustainability of the environment.
We believe that one good way of contributing to this aspiration is through the development of a mobile app titled ‘EnviroCop’ to assist waste management authorities and citizens with a cost effective, reliable and user friendly communication platform.
Cherie Chinenye Eze is the team captain and helped in creating the app and making the product video. Organizing the work of the group by scheduling, hosting meetings and sourcing for funds. Tolu Oluyede helped in brainstorming, conducting surveys and SWOT analysis. She also helped with determination of personnel required. Eniola Olomolatan helped in the innovation of the products and services involved. Omonigho Umusu helped in market surveys, pricing and liaison with group. "

Our main objective is to assist the lives of millions of people around the world who have Speech Impairments. Existing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices lack efficiency, technologically and economically . Due to the current economic situation of many developing nations, many of those afflicted with Speech Impairments are unable to afford technologies to help them communicate and live a better life. Neurospeak is an EEG (Electroencephalo- gram) headset which uses a custom-designed program to decode and translate minute electrical signals from the user’s brain into words, which then outputs it as synthesized speech through a speaker. It is less expensive than current alterna- tives, robust and has the potential to revolutionize technology as a whole.
Neurospeak will positively impact the quality of life of those with Speech Impairment and it’s significantly more affordable than current alternatives in the market.

Team Adrenaline is made up of an outstanding group of students. By capitalizing on our ability to carry our ‘weaker’ fellow humans along instead of abiding by the ‘only the strong survive’ mentality- one of our most quintessential evolutionary traits as human beings which allowed our remarkable species to survive and prosper- we are developing a self-enabling mobile application called ENABLE.
It is at this point that our Conrad app proposal ‘Enable’ comes in. Our app builds capacity, allowing the disabled to help themselves. Enable is simply a self-management app orientated towards the disabled community; our app allows users to plan and organize their lives utilizing our virtual scheduling system whilst also providing an advanced mapping system giving them access to the nearest buildings with the ability to cater for their needs. This is all brought together with a simple, easy to use aesthetically pleasing GUI.
We closely observed the lifestyle of normal and disabled individuals and noticed an inherent disparity in mobility, an insufferable disadvantage for the disabled.

Did you know unemployment is one of the greatest problems in our world today, and due to the continuously expanding population it just gets harder and harder to solve? Currently, 5.4% of the world is unemployed, a figure of about 378 million people. Our idea of an app, EMPOWER, not only provides people with jobs thereby reducing the unemployment rate but also will be able to curb the rate of unemployment greatly (especially in Nigeria) by making people young entrepreneurs. This is done by giving them business models and guiding them on how to start up their own business. This not only creates a source of revenue for the user but also creates opportunities for the unemployed.

We are inquisitive young girls who are always ready to find out solutions to problems that arise in our daily lives. Food waste in nigeria and how it affects the environment and the economy.
BIONYTE, a device used to convert food waste (biomass) into heat energy used for cooking (domestic purposes). It converts food waste (biomass) to heat energy by direct combustion and should be kept out of the reach of children. It should be kept in a well-ventilated area. No additive chemical should be added to the biomass before inputting into the device. The amount of biomass inputted into the device depends on the size of the BIONYTE device bought. BIONYTE can be used daily.
The most common biomass materials used for energy are plants, wood, and waste. These are called biomass feedstocks. Biomass energy can also be a non-renewable energy source. BIONYTE can be used by individuals, restaurants, eateries, or Fast food. It would make use of food waste, rotten food, leftover food, etc. (it can be used anywhere if there is an adequate supply of food waste). Food waste to Heat Energy for cooking.

Globally, at least 2 billion people have no choice but to make use of contaminated water sources and the contaminated water can transmit deadly waterborne diseases such as diarrhoea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid, polio and many more diseases. This unfit water is a major problem in the world today as it is responsible for 485 000 diarrhoeal deaths each year. Our team, Team environment is made up of five intelligent, creative and innovative girls between the ages of 14-15 years from The Lagoon School that have a passion for sciences and business.
Our team was very excited to partake in the Conrad Competition as we saw it as an opportunity to make a change in our environment in the littlest way we can. We chose the energy and environment catego- ry due to the high pollution rate in the water bodies making it very unsafe for people to utilise the water from streams, rivers, lakes and even oceans hence, it is important we make an effort to sustain the cleanliness of the environment to make it suitable for living.

The rising issue of poor efficiency of recycling in our country and also the world at large. This great challenge has caused so much environmental damage to the society such as emission of harmful gases; which leads to climate change, air and water pollution, wastage of lands used as landfills and so on. These challenges has also caused harm to human health.
The PEDA-R mobile application is a software that will help reduce these challenges. It is going to be made with an inbuilt scanner which will help individuals in homes to scan through their waste and sort it out for them. It will also give the location and direction of the nearest recycling company. When trash is recycled, this helps to reduce the thrash taken to landfills and also increase efficiency of recycling.

Team life Defender is a group of three innovative and smart COVID-19 Fighters from Government Science and Technical College, Garki, Abuja, who are out to fight the spread of Corona virus pandemic in rural areas as well as unplanned urban settlements, by processing and using “Moringa Oleifera seed Powder” as a coagulant and a better alternative to aluminum sulphate (alum) in purifying sewage/waste water and discharging the purified water into a foot-operated hand-washing device called “COVI-WASH”. The idea of this innovation came from Oyinda who shared it with her team mates who are Favour and Samuel as they were also thinking in that direction since there are lots of moringa trees in the school community.
In the course of empathizing with a community in Kuje Area Council of Abuja with no access to clean water for hand wash- ing especially in this COVID-19 era, instead they resorted to cleaning their hands with wood ash from their kitchen, We decided to create an eco-friendly system comprising of sewage/waste water purifier and foot-operated hand washing device for such community. Our products are processed “Moringa Oleifera seed-powder water purifier and Innovative foot-operated hand-washing device.

Team Industrai is made up of five agile, diligent, brilliant and highly determined girls from Holy Child College, Lagos. Like the saying goes; “birds of a feather always flock together”. As classmates, we have been together for over five years. Undoubtedly, the ongoing Conrad Challenge has provided us the opportunity to express ourselves in the technology industry with the design and construction of our new and all-important device.
Our device – the Electrovia is a simple invention aimed at making electricity readily available.
The introduction of Electrovia will to a great extent reduce the alarming rate of air pollution by poisonous gases released into the atmosphere due to the frequent use of fossil fuels. Electrovia works on the principle of a typical lightening conductor, which traps the energy from lightening and then converts it to safe electricity which is suitable for domestic use. The free energy generated can be transmitted to the coun- try’s national grids and sub stations which makes it readily available for consumers’ consumption. Generally, our device can be used by individuals as well as industries. It also aims at reducing the dependency on fossil fuels and unsafe energy, thereby making our environment more conducive. Thank you.

"Insufficient electricity distribution especially during the rainy season has cost losses of Electrical Power for household members and ventures.
With the introduction of this device called HydroZap, it will re-establish confidence in electricity distribution to homes and ventures which will help them move on with their various businesses knowing that they have sufficient electricity supply. The advent of this device in addition to the existing Power Holding Company of Nigeria and other electricity-generating devices (e.g solar panels) will reasonably bring a halt to the insufficient electricity problems that are being faced in Nigeria.
The device called HydroZap uses water to produce electricity. HydroZap is a device that will be used mostly during the rainy season because there is limited electric power. The water collecting system which is connected to the storage tank stores the rainwater then the water passes through the routing pipes rainwater is collected by funneling it into a gutter by adding sheeting to simulate a slope, routing the water in one direction.
The electricity generated by the HydroZap will be in DC (Direct Current) 12 volts for all DC devices or can be converted to AC (Alter- nating Current). "
