"The role of medications in saving lives and treating illnesses is pivotal, but overreliance poses potential drawbacks due to side effects, especially with multiple medications. In response, our carefully crafted group, consisting of Idara Attah, Mirabel Njoku, and Imaobong Akpan, recognized the need for alternative approaches. Our research focused on the medicinal functions of juices, acknowledging their nutrient-rich content derived from fruits and vegetables.
Innovatively, our team developed the Juice-It-Up app to address the limitations of pharmaceutical reliance. This application allows users to input personal details, symptoms, and prior medications. Using an Al algorithm, Juice-It-Up generates personalized juice-making ratios, specifying fruits, proportions, and preparation methods to aid in the recovery process. The app integrates personalized nutrition and exercise recommendations, empowering users to adopt a proactive health approach, complementing traditional medications with natural remedies and Lifestyle adjustments.
By emphasizing a holistic wellness perspective, Juice-It-Up represents a unique and comprehensive strategy to enhance health outcomes."

OSINACHI OKWARA, MARYAM OKENEYI and AUDIFFEREN MAXIME

"Team Mono, a team made up of three young innovators is motivated by the prospect of enhancing living conditions by reducing excess amounts of atmospheric CO2. We believe that our Direct Air Capture Technology is the ideal answer to this problem since ti emits no undesired or dangerous byproducts into the atmosphere, allowing us to function at full efficiency. Our innovation consists of two fans. The first collects carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, while the exhaust fan returns carbon-free air to the environment.
Our device has two phases, in the initial phase, the primary fan extracts ambient air and channels it into the reacting chamber. Within this enclosure, the extracted air undergoes a reaction with pre-existing sodium hydroxide. The stirrer positioned in the chamber assumes a pivotal role in augmenting the reaction between sodium hydroxide and the incoming air. This process enables the selective capture of carbon dioxide from the air, leading to the formation of a solid byproduct-sodium carbonate. The potential application of this sodium carbonate extends to aviation fuels, offering a means to mitigate the carbon footprint associated with aircraft."

"Team Kryptonite is proud to introduce Hornet, an innovative loT-based diagnostic toolbox designed to revolutionize aircraft maintenance. Hornet leverages IoT technology to predict potential damage in aircraft parts, enabling proactive maintenance and preventing costly breakdowns.
Aircraft operators often face challenges in identifying and addressing potential issues in equipment before they lead to significant damage. Traditional maintenance practices may result in unplanned downtime and increased operational costs. Hornet addresses these challenges by collecting real-time data from various tools embedded in the aircraft. It uses advanced analytics to identify fragile parts and predict potential damage.
This data empowers technicians to create effective maintenance schedules, procure necessary parts, and schedule timely repairs. With real-time data collected from a fleet of aircraft, Hornet can determine a developing problem before it becomes a safety hazard. Hornet predictive maintenance reduces maintenance costs, as it can detect and correct problems before they have time to worsen. "

"We are a team of five students, three girls, and two boys, from Dowen College Lagos. Our project is an innovation to completely eradicate alcohol-induced cancer in the world. Alcohol consumption causes thousands of people to develop cancer every year. This is a fact unknown to millions of people worldwide even among the educated ones. Alcohol has been classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).
This is the highest group which also includes asbestos, radiation, and tobacco. Many recent scientific research have now confirmed alcohol as a direct cause of cancer. Thousands of the people affected consequently die yearly from cancer. According to the WHO, "No level of alcohol consumption is safe for our health." All alcoholic drinks can cause cancer.
Our innovation is an app titled ACE App which contains enlightenment campaigns carcinogenic nature of alcohol, how alcohol causes cancer, a rehabilitation program for alcohol addicts and drinkers who want to stop or limit their intake of alcohol, alternative sources of income for brewery workers, and palliative care for cancer patients.
Our innovation is more of a proactive measure to prevent alcohol-induced cancer."

EKELE ELEAGU, ANISAH ABDULSALAM and FUNKE ADELABU.

"Recognizing a gap in the support system for orphanages, Team Athenians has identified a need for a platform that seamlessly connects donors and sponsors to these facilities. Despite the willingness of many to contribute, donations sometimes fall short of the specific requirements of orphanages. Additionally, individuals with busy schedules may find it challenging to physically visit these institutions, creating a disconnect between those willing to give and those in need.
To bridge this gap, the team has conceptualized a mobile app that serves as a link between orphanages and sponsors/donors. This platform allows orphanages to upload their details and specify the items they require, providing transparency for potential donors. Donors, in turn, can contribute towards specific needs or offer their spare items listed by the orphanages.
The app extends beyond material donations, enabling donors to utilize their skills to enhance the lives of the children, either virtually or in person through educational outreach.
Team Athenians aims to facilitate a more efficient and comprehensive means of support for orphanages, fostering a community where kindness and generosity can positively impact the lives of those in need."

"VAT-ALLIANCE Nigeria is a massive economic center with thousands of businesses operating daily generating billions of dollars in taxes. However, CBN still claims of a scarcity of finances in this same country. This can only mean that not all of those businesses have financial integrity in regard to their finances. This is a problem and we believe the solution lies in our idea, VATAlliance.
We envision an app that allows the harmonization of the accounts of all Businesses across Nigeria to ensure that the Government is capable of taking back the money due to them. This would lead to an increase in government finances enabling them to better run the country. This money can be used to build good hospitals, schools, and roads in less-impoverished areas and better the overall lifestyle of the people in our Nation.
We are unwavering believers in the growth and prosperity of our Nation and we hope with the support of the Conrad Organization- we can change the world."
